Getting Started
To begin the research I just need to know what you already know! Any details that you can provide regarding the ancestors to be researched are helpful. I genuinely once managed to crack a case because the client mentioned that her grandmother had been born in a pub. If you have a specific question or mystery you would like solving, please do let me know any research you have already done, to prevent me repeating work.
Once you reach out, I will do some preliminary research to see what is possible. At this point we can discuss research aims and potential prices (see the prices and packages page for more details).

What Will I Receive?
- A detailed and comprehensive research report containing a narrative overview of your ancestors’ lives. This will include screenshots of any important documents and may include contextual information about the towns and times in which they lived where appropriate.
- A folder of documents (sent via WeTransfer) with all the documents relating to your family found during the course of the research.
- A digital version of your family tree. Alternatively, if you already have an online tree, information can be added directly to your tree upon request.
